Talked with DH last night

DH and I talked about resuming TTC activity this month, we've decided to wait 2 cycles post m/c. Turns out he isn't ready to TTC yet, he thinks we should wait a bit. Pretty sure this is b/c the holidays were made so much harder considering the m/c and Nicholas. We came together and everything felt perfect in Sept but this m/c really put us in another place.

I think we are going to take each week as it comes and try to focus on ourselves, each other and our family. First thing is we have rejoined the gym, sounds dumb but we've both always been members and gone several times a week. That stopped b/c I had a hard pregnancy with Nicholas and I never really reclaimed that part of my life b/c I wanted to give up. 

It's weird b/c I'm not too upset. I figure we'll finish the box of condoms we have and next cycle we'll probably both feel a lot better about everything. It is amazing how little time it can take to recharge if you really focus. 

I plan to stay on this board and prep and support everyone else. Good luck to everyone this cycle!

glad to hear you are both getting back on track.  i know it must be hard to TTA for another cycle, but hopefully it'll get you both on the same page.  GL with getting back to the gym- i've been paying and not going!

Thank you for your kind words, this board truly is amazing. I just think we both need a break from TTC and baby things. It's been over a year since we began this journey and I really believe a short break will be exactly what we need. Not saying that I won't be buying some CBE OPK's in the meantime
