Any will do, but one question in particular: I'm trying to price out meds-- can anyone tell me what exactly you were prescribed? I know clomid and a "trigger shot"-- but that's all I've got.
TIA

I took the generic clomid and it was free on my drug plan. The ovidrel was $30. I did 3 rounds with clomid, then 3 with follistim. Follistim was also $30 for 900iu - but that can be much more expensive depending on your plan. My dosage was around 150iu/day for 7-10 days so I had to order a refill, but then I would have some left for the next time. For the follistim rounds, I also used crinone (progesterone) which was 30 days for a 2 week supply.
The IUI procedure itself is really easy and painless - pretty much just like a pap. I had some bloating by the end of the stims, but it wasn't too bad and it got better soon after ovulation.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you have more questions. GL!

Freedom pharmacy is a good place to price meds if you are out of pocket! They have some of their meds listed online and the prices but i know they carry more drugs than what's listed. I have done 3 rounds with Femara and now I am on my first round with clomid. Clomid is one of the least expensive fertility drugs on the market. If you are prescribed femara by chance, you can google femara coupon and get 30 pills for free as long as your dr will sign off on the coupon for you. I did this last cycle and since I'm on a high dose it still gave me 2 cycles worth of pills free!!

I didn't do Clomid, I did Gonal-F. Between the Gonal-F and the Ovidrel my meds were around $1500 I think, but I paid a $30 copay. The actual procedure was just under $400 I think for the sperm washing and IUI. I did this two days in a row. The monitoring appointments were actually more expensive than the IUI at about $450 for each visit. I have a $10 copay every time I go in- whether it's for monitoring or the IUI.

Re: IUI vets please come in
I had 5 pills 50 mg Clomid (I got generic) and the Ovidrel trigger shot. I think it cost about $150 total, the shot being the bulk of the cost.
ETA: My insurance doesn't cover anything related to infertility so this was full retail price at CVS.

Hi, I'm a lurker, but I'll answer.
I had generic Clomid at $0 co-pay.
My insurance paid 50% of the injectibles, so the Gonal-F (2 shots) was $75 and the Ovidrel was $39.
