I'm putting together a scrapbook for our future adoptee. I am making it an ABC book to tell the child about us before they come to our house. (The foster/adoption agency asks for pictures and a letter, I'm just putting it together a little differently). These are the letters I have so far. We will be open to kids 0-3 years old.

As an adoptee, I always love your posts! Here are some ideas,
A could be "for adopting" tell a little about how you've ended up at this point?
I is for incredible, incredulous
O, I love the "open arms" idea
Q could be for "quality time" i.e. special activities you hope to share
U could be for understanding i.e. understanding where they came from, that transitions are hard, or that they have a past
W could be for welcoming- maybe how you plan to welcome them (i.e. a party planned, or other family to meet, it could also be the room you have set up, a place for them to put things, etc.)
X could be for eXtraordinary as in how you are different or unique, or how excithing it is that your dreams are coming true
Z could be for "zzzz's"- corny, I'm desperate, like show them their room?
