Infertility

Has anyone seen Dr. Toth?

I asked this a few months ago...not sure if anyone has consulted with him since. I'm just curious...I've heard of one very compelling story where his antibiotic treatments helped after failed IVF.

Any thoughts?

Re: Has anyone seen Dr. Toth?

  • I am one of his patients.  He was recommended to me by by primary care physician who is also at MGH.  So far I've enjoyed working with him.  I think he's very good at explaining the process.  He and his team (and you'll mostly see the team) all work together well and respond to questions/concerns quickly.
  • I hope that you don't mind me responding.

I saw Dr. Schifren at MGH for this pregnancy, but Dr. Toth did my ER. He and the rest of the team were wonderful. MGH does team consults to determine protocol for each patient, so you'd be in good hands seeing any of the drs. there. I switched from another clinic after IVF #2 and the difference was amazing.

    Good luck!

  • I'm so excited that you posted about Dr. Toth! He's not my doctor, but I read all about him a few weeks ago. I've been very interested in antibiotic therapy lately and even posted on this board about it in late December. So many IF couples don't know anything about it, and I really think it could help many people who are struggling to conceive. MH and I are taking a round of doxycycline once my next period arrives, and I'm sure hoping this will get us on the right path toward a bfp.
