"When are you going to have a baby?"

So today is my first day back from vacation and a female student just asked this to me and another teacher. I said "That's a very personal question" but I think she thought she was being cute or funny or something so she said "Why don't you want any babies?" and I said "You're asking about my sex life." I don't care that she's a student, I'm so annoyed! I was like "seriously??? WTF??" to the other teacher, who kept trying to deflect too. Welcome home to me!! Ugh.

    girl I was just thinking of you the other day wondering where you were!  How old is this student? That is a very personal thing for a child to ask an adult!!!

    Ugh I freakin' hate that question! My DH says it's only natural for people to ask and it's because they're curious. I say fvck 'em! That's a personal question. What goes on in MY uterus is no one's business but mine. I'm sorry you had to deal with that crap from some punk kid!

    Totally this.  If my mother found out I asked a teacher that when I was a kid I would have had a small can of parental whoop ass opened on me.

    Because of the great "Snow"vember of 2015, my medicated cycle was cancelled.  However, we were blessed with our little rainbow baby due on 8/14/15!  Baby J had other plans and decided to make his grand ole entrance on 7/4/2015!

    Surprise!  Our little girl entered this world on 12/8/2016 after her eviction notice was long past due.  Our little turkey baby turned into a snow baby!  

                                                        
    Third times the charm!  BFP on 4/18/2019, EDD: 12/18/2019!

    Our twin boys arrived at 36w5d due to IUGR and a growth discordance

    FET: Medicated FET moved up to 5/23 due to ovulation
    Transferred a 6BB hatched blastocyst- genetically normal female embryo

    I'm so sorry!  I absolutely hate that question.  I always feel like a deer caught in the headlights when I get it.  I'm quite sure I never answer it appropriately.

    Students these days. That was very inappropriate.

     

    I get it often. For some reason they think I have a daughter. Makes me so angry.

    That is totally inappropriate for that student to ask you that. I have been asked this question by coworkers it completely sucks. I am sorry.
