Hey! It feels like it's been forever since we actually chatted! How are you? How's Brin? She's getting so big in those pictures on FB! How were your holidays?
I MISS YOU!!! You can tell how much I miss you since it's all in CAPS!
Are you talking about the fuss-bucket? She's doing well, I need to run some errands but she's not having it. Love the birth announcement, Abby is so adorable!!! And how are our girls getting so big so fast?! Chuck here is now almost 10 lbs! Holidays were good, how about you?
I can't believe how big Brin is! She was so small; I love seeing how chunky she is getting now!
I think Abby is about 13.5 lbs. now. She has her 4 month appointment on the 28th, so we'll find out for sure then.
Our holidays were good. We stayed home on Christmas, so it was nice and quiet. Abby had her baptism yesterday, so it was her first big party! It was really nice and she was such a good girl (thankfully!).
13.5 lbs??? Good for you Miss Abby!!! BTW I didn't know her mn was Piper until I got the announcement, love it!!!
How did the baptism go? Did you pp on FB? Brin's is in May because our church does it once a month (unless we wanted to do it at the sister church but we said no, we want it done at the church we were married in) and with Lent that is the 1st available where we also feel comfortable enough to have her out for so long.
Haha, yep, Piper! D actually wanted to switch those and have Piper as her first name. I actually like the name even more now and probably would've agreed if she was born now. Oh well, I still like Abby too, and technically they are both her names, so she could always go by her mn if we/she wanted!
The baptism went well. Of course, I knew she was going to end up being hungry in the middle of the church service, and of course right when we get up in front of the church is when she decided she needed to eat. So she started bawling and I just kept thinking, "hurry it up! I can fix this with a bottle!" LOL, but besides that she was fine. And as soon as I got back to the pew we had a bottle ready for her.
Does Brin nurse at all or are you EPing? If you are EPing, do you think she'll ever nurse? I gave up trying with Abby and just EP. After spending six solid weeks working on it with numerous LCs, I finally gave up and just give her a bottle, which is what she wants. She just has no interest in where the milk comes from. The bottle is good enough for her, lol.
Oh, and my uncle took some pics of the baptism and tagged me, so those are on FB, but I think I might have to untag myself. I look pretty horrible! I still have so much weight to lose. I gained such an insane amount of weight with pregnancy, it's going to take forever to lose. And it doesn't help that I'm always starving due to breastfeeding and I'm still losing weight, but extremely slowly...like a half a pound every two weeks.
