Snow in Georgia...disappointed :(

We were supposed to have my 17 week appt this morning but Atlanta has been completely shut down due to 5 inches of snow. We were going to schedule my anatomy scan too! I was hoping we would get to see the babies again and maybe find out the genders, oh well.

I just hope they can reschedule me for later this week...

That is a bummer! But think how much nicer it is to be home, safe and warm, than out there battling the roads. I'm in Texas, and we had a little ice this morning. Accidents all over the place!

I had the same problem. Had my anatomy scan schedule for first thing this morning but it was canceled because of the snow. I am still so bummed.

This happened to me too! Mine was supposed to be tomorrow morning, but they already called to cancel it. They said to call to reschedule on Wednesday. Wahhhh :-(

I hope we all get rescheduled soon!! The suspense is killing me. We have already canceled school tomorrow so I have a feeling our doctor will be closed tomorrow too. Such a bummer!

Everything is expected to be closed tomorrow too.  Let's hope for Friday rescheduled appts!

It's not really the snow that's the problem at this point...it's the ice layer on top of it and the fact that we're not supposed to get above freezing again until Saturday. But yeah, it's definitely not something we're used to!

I personally am used to it as I'm originally from Cleveland. But like taitai said, it's the ice that's becoming the problem now and we just dont have the resources to take care of it like the northern states do.

i was scheduled for my 17 week appt on Wednesday which probably wouldnt be great since that storm is traveling to the northeast. They say it will probably be at least 12 inches of snow Tues night into Wednesday... So I called the doctors office tonight and scheduled my appt for Tuesday afternoon before all that snow comes.. I really wanted to get there and not wait until the end of the week because I finally get to schedule my anatomy scan appt at the hospital when I go in for my appt tomorrow!!!!!

I'm in Boston and I'm a little concerned they'll cancel my anatomy scan tomorrow morning at 7:45.  On the one hand, this is Boston, so snow doesn't shut us down.  And this is a hospital, so business continuing as usual is pretty important.  On the other hand, we're expecting 16 inches and "blizzard-like" conditions tomorrow morning, so it's possible that the tech wouldn't be able to get in.  Maybe I'll call before I head in.
