I wanted to thank you for your support regarding my post a few days ago. I continue to be overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support. For those who have done some kind of memorial for your angel(s) what did you do? We will be ordering the headstone for their grave (can't believe I am typing this sentence), but in addition I would like to do something that I can see on a daily basis. I would love to hear what you all have done in memory of your angel(s).
Re: Thank you & Memorial Question
First of all I am so sorry for your losses. Our son died at 21 weeks. His was interred with my grandfather in a cemetery in North Jersey (2 hrs away) so I understand wanting something closer. Right now, we have a keepsake with some of his remains that we are putting into a stuffed animal (the first gift I gave DH), then putting it in a shadow box and hanging it in our room. We also still have the last two u/s we have in a frame, and an ornament with his footprints on it that we kept out to see all year round.
My friend got me a lovely charm bracelet with a heart on it with the letter R engraved--i have worn it everyday no matter what. My mil bought me a chamilla charm of an angel, so that some days i wear that too.
Again, I am so sorry. I am sure whatever you decide will be the best way to remember them! [[[hugs}}}

After our first loss, we planted a climbing rosebush with a trellis in the area that we talked about putting our LO swing set. I love that because the flowers bloom every year around the time that out LO would have come into the world. We now have a bench there. It is so beautiful and peaceful there.
After this one we are looking for either a memorial stone or angel statues to add in this area now. My husband bought me a mothers necklace that is a great day to day reminder too.
