A little freaked out

For my dentist appointment today. I am one of the lucky ones with a VERY overactive gag reflex, and I seriously end up throwing up when I brush my teeth. :( Anyone else dealing with this have a successful dentist visit?

    Oh, I hadn't thought about that.  I have one coming up in a week or two.  Good luck to us both!  I'm definitely not letting them do the oral xrays this time.  That makes me gag like crazy on a good day, so there is no way I am undergoing that while pg.

    I have one next week and wonder about this as well.  I normally don't gagg when brushing but pregnancy has brought that on.  If I actually have anything, even just liquid in my stomach when I brush I will puke it up, otherwise it's just gagging.  Good luck to us all!  If you figure out something that works, please share.
