DS threw my phone in the tub tonight

I was carrying him in one hand, my phone in the other...I actually thought I might drop it in the tub go firgure since he was wiggling, so I set it on the toilet..

so I set it down, them him and low and behold he threw it right in the tub ugh!

Sorry.  Take the battery out and lay it out to dry.  Hopefully it will still work.  A few years ago I washed mine, unknowingly, in my MIL's front load washer.  I just had to sit there and watch it until the cycle was done.  It took a couple days but it eventually dried out on its own.  I've also heard that you can put it in a bag of rice to help absorb the moisture.

Yup, try letting it dry out. I dropped one in the sink a few years ago and immediately went and got a replacement and a couple of days later that one turned on and worked fine, go figure.
