I'll bite. I wish people would at least skim the first page of posts for answers to their questions. One day last week there were something like 4 "how long/why did your doctor tell you to wait" posts going at once.
I'll bite. I wish people would at least skim the first page of posts for answers to their questions. One day last week there were something like 4 "how long/why did your doctor tell you to wait" posts going at once.
This (especially the "when do you test?" posts) and when the same lady posts about the same thing everyday (like the result of their daily opk or pg test).

I don't like confrontation here or IRL. That is why you will rarely see me comment on the "drama".

I'm more of a newb than some, and more of an oldbie than many, so I may not have the right to comment, but for some reason use of the word "prego" (1 "g", 2 "g"s, what have you) to describe being pregnant irks the sh!t out of me. I am not obsessing about my ute so that I can describe myself as a commercially prepared, lousy tasting, pasta sauce. I am trying to get pregnant and deliver a healthy, full term baby. Not dinner. Disclaimer: This is perhaps a stupid one, and I am probably the only freak who is bothered by it.
But that leads to drive-bys, who are the most likely offenders of the "prego" concept, and a more general nuisance/smack in the face/throat punch. Drive-bys suck donkey balls and anyone who does that is a twatwaffle.
Also, seeing someone with 20 posts try to school someone with 1,000+posts and a history of helping others makes me nuts. Really? You're going to tell *what* to the Yodas of this Board? Um...okay.
But usually the Board regulars are more than willing to deal with that with their usual grace and tolerance. So I keep my evil bunny mouth shut and am just damn glad there are oldbies here to help and support and share knowledge that is hard-won and more precious than rubies.

4. Drive by BFP's or OMG OMG OMG OMG.. I might be so preggers. No your not a freaking jar of sause your Pregnant.. Because you got KU does not mean that you lost all reality of real words.
5. Phishing.. this one drives me up the wall. I don't need to reassure you that your period is late yet you never charted a day in your life because you believe of the "everyone ovulates on CD 14)
6. Telling us everything about your lives. I orders something today, the next day OMG I got the tracking number of the thing I ordered today, than the next day OMG I got the thing I ordered today. Leave some mystery we really don't care.
7. People who want to get pregnant right after a loss. I know I have been there but having the refrence of being "lucky" drives me up the wall. I have never been lucky nor have I ever been lucky to get KU on the 1st shot and bet yea 95% of this room as not either.
8. Not knowing your audience, you may not have struggled to get pregnant. But 5-10% of us are on fertility drugs. Also Fertility drugs are not freaking candy. They are prescribed by a doctor for a reason.. not for you to take them and not be monitored. You pay your doctor for help, than make them do their jobs.
9. Goats.
10. The same questions over and over. "How long did you wait" or " Did you follow doctors orders" or " How long for my period after progestrogne" or How long did it take your period to show up"
Yes I know were all new at a time, but lurk read the board, if you see a post that says " How long did you wait" odds are you don't have to repost it.
Also read the TTCAL Blog, it answers 95% of the questions people ask.

I consider myself a pretty easygoing person and I don't like drama (I try to avoid it whenever I can) so I usually don't comment in those posts. I guess the thing that bugs me the most is the drive-bys. Thankfully they don't happen too much!

Drive-bys - I'm so happy we haven't had one in awhile.
People who write a million posts to update us on the same mundane thing.
When people ask for tons of support, but are rarely seen giving support for anyone else.
People who do not use common sense.
But lately, i've just been ignoring the stupid... unless it's really stupid.

Not necessarily in this order:
Drive-bys
goats
insensitivity (proofread your posts)
phishing
repetitive questions when the answer is right there or on the blog (Susan welcomes each and everyone of you with a mention of the blog, btw)
apologies that aren't really apologies
not understanding that we've all lost something and/or are struggling with issues, but our stories are not the same and we need to be aware of that
not listening to what the "experts" have to say, they've really done their homework, unfortunately we know a lot because of where we are today
