Parenting after a Loss

DH swears LO is teething

however i'm not convinced, she's not even 3 months.

She's drooling, chewing on our fingers and is generally fussy the last couple days especially while eating. She's only getting a couple good feedings in the morning and one at night. Other than that it's a lot of tugging and pulling off and crying.

  • I say you never know...especially since she is pulling off and crying. But if she were just chewing on your fingers and drooling alone it wouldn't leave me convinced. Both my nephews were excessive droolers.
  • Did either you, DH, or your boys teethe early?  Tends to run in families.

  • My DD has been drooling and chewing on her fist for a while. We thought she might be getting teeth early but so far none have shown up. I think it is just a new stage. Also, I have noticed she will tug and pull during feedings right before a growth spurt. I think I read that the tugging and pulling will alert your body to make more.

I had two teeth and 2 months old and was two month premature.
