Teachers- do u pay sitter in summer?

My sitter brought this up today. We discussed NOT paying in the summer (before enrolling) so I will not but I was just wondering what's normal.

depends on the place... mine will hold your spot if you drop out of the program and then reenter in the fall. otherwise you have to pay.

We have to get on the wait list or re-enroll for the fall as soon as she starts daycare....kinda sucks, but will save us 2k.

We have to give 2 wks notice and then withdraw her and we are placed on the list to reenroll for the fall. They will call us if they fill up to the point that they need our spot and then they will give us the option of paying or losing our spot.
