nap 1 in big boy room

We moved his crib to his new room today.  I've been spending a lot of time with him in his new room so it's familiar to him.  Today I started off the day getting him dressed there, changing his diaper, etc so it was like his old routine.

When I put him for a nap he was very confused.  He normally just lays down and hugs his babies and is happy, but he stood up and cried.  He cried at lot at first but calmed right down to a low-level cry for 15 min.

He woke up after 45 min, coughed, cried about 2 min, and fell back asleep.  

I hope that he feels comfortable there soon.  I feel bad taking him out of his comfort zone when what we do works so well, but, I'd like to be able to take my time getting the nursery ready, going through his old clothes, etc. I hope he'll adjust soon.   I think when he does he'll love it there because it's all cars :-)

Aww - sounds cute!  I bet by the end of the week he'll be used to the new room.  I think it's smart to start this so soon - that way he'll won't remember that the nursery was " his" room.

Yay! I bet he will love it and wants to stay in there! I am sure he was a little confused, but he will get used to it soon.
