NBR: any speech therapists here?

I just started working out pt in a hosp...all the sudden I have no patients...most of them were discharged shortly after I started and I have a few that don't come consistantly....I went from having 3 6-8 hour days and now...not even one full day!

Now I think my nanny might quite because she is not getting enough hours.

My boss keeps telling me it will pick up (it's only been like this for about a week).  Anybody else work in this setting?  Has this happened to you?  I'm not really sure what to do...I kinda need the money ya know?  I don't want to quit-I love where I'm at.  I don't really think I should try to pick up something somewhere else because I wouldn't be able to do it if/when my other job picks up...

ugh I guess I'm just venting....

I do pediatrics - I think things start to get super busy as the holidays near.  Not sure why - is just is that way!
