Lightning Crotch?

All night I had "lightning crotch" and the top of my legs felt so heavy, and my stomach kept tightening/ It hurt really bad, but i took some tylenol and tried to get some rest. Needless to say when i woke up this morning, it started again everytime i bend down, or try to do anything it seems. Also feel like i got to go pee every 2 mins. (LOL) BUt anyways what is lightening crotch from? Does it mean the baby has dropped down lower or what? Thanks Ladies ahead of time! (Sorry, I just dont remember having these with either 2 of my other kids)

    Yes it means the baby is dropping/dropped. I just went to L&D lastnight thinking I could be in labor, I was not & they sent me home.The Doctor told me that its just one of those things that can happen & theres not much you can do about it.
