I just wanted to share that I FINALLY got to go out with my friends by myself for the first time since, like, the second trimester. And it was awesome! I went to a friend's birthday party, and really, it was only in the neighborhood across the street, but still. I had far too many margaritas, and I don't even regret it THAT much this morning.

That helped my attitude and outlook on SAHM life so much!

That's great!  I'm jealous!  I won't get to go out by myself for a while yet - DS still refuses a bottle and tends to eat nearly every hour.

About 5 months ago I had my first girls weekend in almost 4 years! It was so great and so needed! It was only one night away from the kids so it wasn't too tough for me to go and enjoy. Balance is crucial. Glad you had fun!

ktkeeps- My friend's sister had a Margaritaville margarita maker. So cool! She said it cost like $260 bucks so I probably wouldn't buy one for myself but it was still completely awesome.
