I saw a post about a friend from high school announcing the birth of her son. Happy for her, sad for me. I wish I would stop being randomly sad. I've been ok the last little while.
i dont know if you know about this or if any one told you but you can "hide" people on your FB. I did right after my loss. All of the woman who were pregnant or just had babies total of (10) yes 10 woman were hidden from my FB till i can better deal with this loss and be happier for them or till I can concieve again.
To do this: all the way to the top right end of the post hover your mouse and there should be an "X" click it and there will be an option to "hide all posts from this user" They wont know that have hidden them and if you ever want to check up on them then you can just go in your friends or type their name in the search, HTH

I have hidden all the pregnant people and scroll quickly past the ones with new babies. I looked up a friend yesterday to see if she was in fact pregnant - she had been hinting. And she is and I regret checking. It just hurts and makes me angry.

I have only been on FB twice since my MC in November, and I don't plan to return until I get a BFP. It's just not worth it. It puts me in a bad mood. I would rather spend my computer time on this board anyway.
November 2010 - 10.5 week loss October2011 - DS (7) July 2014 - Stillborn DD (24 weeks) August 2015- DD (3) April 2018 - 5 week loss
The hide feature rocks! I had an ex-coworker friend request me 2 days ago. I accepted and it took about 24 hours to hide her. Every.single.post was about how much it sucks to be a mom, except one of those fwd deals that was talking about how fantastic moms are.
I limit my FB time now. I like bumping much better and it rarely upstes me!

I am on a FB break. I only go on it if someone wants to be friends or something shows up in my email that someone commented to me. I am just sad for me so I think its better that I do not pay attention.

I know how you feel. I just told my husband yesterday that I think I need to stop going on facebook. One of his roommates from college and his wife are pregnant. She's a news anchor on tv and she announced her pregnancy on the news (and then on facebook) at just about 12 weeks! Of course our bitter minds were thinking "that's pretty risky to do that" but of course it'll be fine for them, just because. But still - just rips a knife thru my heart every time...

FB can be a cruel joke sometimes. I hide a few "friends" who complain about their pregnancies CONSTANTLY. Other than that, I usually just use FB to play Farkle and Bejeweled - LOL. Sorry FB made you upset ((Hugs))
