Intercourse during 2ww?

Are we allowed? My Dr. didn't mention this and I didn't think to ask. What did your docs say?

    My RE says no.  AND, if you get pg, no sex during first trimester too.  He's super conservative though.
    11/10: IUI #1 =100mg Clomid CD4-8 + pregnyl trigger + IUI = chemical pregnancy
    1/11: IUI #2 = 5mg Femara + trigger + IUI = BFN
    2/11: IUI #3 = injectibles + trigger + IUI = BFN
    IVF #1 April 2011 ER 4/23 w/16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fert., 4 blasts to freeze, 5dt of 2 blasts on 4/28, beta #1 5/7 = 243... beta #2 5/9 = 491....beta #3 5/11 = 1113!!

    I think by your siggy you had an IUI? My RE told us to have sex the night of the IUI and the night after for sure, and to resume normal activities (including exercise).

    For IUI we were told to have sex the night of the IUI (after) and the next night to "cover our bases" and then we could do whatever we pleased!!  There were no sex restrictions for IUI cycles.  For IVF, that is a different story.

    This. Except we were told "not to have too much fun" I took this as don't be rough. However with the progesterone I was feeling kind of gross anyway so my poor dh hasn't and probably wont see much action in this next cycle.

    No restrictions during IUI, no sex during the IVF 2WW.

    He actually didn't say and I didn't even ask lol!  I was totally ok with this.  Haha.  Maybe since they don't want my core temperature to go up during 2ww or for my heart rate to exceed 140bpm?  I don't know what kind of sex they think I'm having but...lol
