Sleep lady shuffle

For those who have used the sleep lady shuffle can you tell me if it worked for your LO? DH and I want DD to start sleeping in her crib soon.  She sleeps with us and nurses all night. We have to wear her around the house to get her to fall asleep then she will only sleep 40 mins without me in bed. By the time I sneak out DH and I don't have much time together. Most of the night she nurses back to sleep, but she fully wakes once and we have to walk her.

My other question is once we start the method do I stop feeding her at her night wakings? I know she is old enough, but I don't want her to be hungry. Should I gradually stop nursing at night?
