rolling to her tummy in her sleep

DD is 6 months old and has been rolling from her back to her front for awhile while awake, but just started doing it in her sleep this week. After about 20 minutes of sleeping (on her back), she rolls over then wakes up crying and holding her head up. She is so confused about what just happened! How can I help her learn to turn her head and stay asleep? Did your LO do this? How long did it take before they stayed asleep on their tummy? TIA!

My son does this and only sometimes stays asleep.  I think they still get scared b/c he will usually wake up and freak out also.

Grace started the same thing around two months so we started putting her to sleep on her belly. I know it's like one of the bigger no no's for some people but we were comfortable with it. If nothing else works and tummy sleeping still makes you nervous you could get the angel care monitor to help put your mind at ease while LO sleeps
