3rd Trimester

Getting excited about a MP!!!

I usually skip over the MP posts because I never understood the big deal.  However, when I saw mine today I got excited (hypocrite. lol).  I didn't lose it with my DD, so it was pretty exciting to see it this time.  I was induced with DD at 39 weeks and went in with no progress, so this is all so new to me.  Unfortunately, my MP was not tinted with blood, but the fact that it is starting to come out is really cool.  I was 1 centimeter dilated, 80% effaced and at -2 station last week.  I can't wait to see if more progress has been made.

Yes.  I don't think I am going into labor tonight or anything.  Its just exciting to know that something is happening in there.  Even if I get induced again, it will be great to go in with progress beforehand.

  • I keep watching for mine too, I know it doesn't mean much but....it's something.

I was induced with ds at 35 weeks so all this is so new to me!

    I'm so anxious/nervouse about everything!

  • I keep checking for mine too :)

I lost it with DS and it wasn't bloody and never ended up having a bloody show either, but I did have my water break 2 days after the MP was gone so GL!

At 35 weeks?  That's quite early.  May I know for what reason was that done?  Just curious :)  First time mommy curiosity is all ;)

  • Haha, I've been on the MP watch too. I think I started to loose part of it last week,  but it has probably regenerated since then. I just wish it would be REALLY obvious so I know for sure:).
