The room we're using is already painted apple green, which I love, and I found a really cool atomic retro fabric that I'm going to have someone make our bumpers from, so the colors will be turquoise/aqua, and apple green. Before deciding on that, I had also debated using the apple with black and white. I really love the strong look of black and white used with one other color, and have seen some really cool black and white fabrics out there to use.

I have creamy brown walls and am thinking I'll just add wall hangings that could fit a boy or girl. I'm partial to monkeys but I haven't seen any cute stuff yet.
if you and your dh are into a bit of a retro throwback we were going to do "Fun with *** and Jane" if we were having B/G twins. It is fun, whimsical and very cute. Good luck!
You can check out my nursery in bio. We did it gender nuetral. The bedding was handled through a shop that knew the sex before we did. We picked out girl and boy bedding that would go with the room and paint. They then got the info from Dr. and ordered the set we needed so it was ready to go after the baby arrived.

black and white are known to stimulate a baby's brain so that could work out great... i love the clean look of black white, and one accent color...
