    Honestly it was cute but not as good as the first two.... Same jokes and sorta lame story line...

    I saw True Grit the other day. It was pretty good. I despise Westerns in general and so when DH said it was a John Wayne movie I was prepared to be bored. So for me to say it was pretty good, means you'd love it if you're into that stuff.

    There are several funny parts to it, and it keeps your interest pretty well.

    EXACTLY. It is what it is - exactly what you expect. It's light. Similar to the first two, I guess, but after three, the jokes are old.

    DH and I saw it over Christmas with his whole family - it got mixed reviews from our group (which was about 16 ppl). 

    I thought it was entertaining - but definitely not as good as the first one.  If you are looking for a few laughs and a light-hearted movie, it's not bad.

    I will say that Jessica Alba is SOOO annoying in this movie.  I wanted to punch her, haha!
