wow nice ring i would have returned it too.... how did he find who owned the ring?

They probably have records in the city for a rock that big. Plus if the family has a house there, they might be known around town or have insurance or something.

ohh never thought of that.. i showed DH the ring and asked him "any hopes of me getting a ring like that?" he told me to "dream on" LOL

wow - nice people! I lost my wedding band one night out and no one turned it in or called me back from the bar. That was a nice night for someone.

I also would have returned it. That ring is huge there is no way I would ever want something that big. I found a $50 dollar bill at work one day and returned it to rightful owner.
