Hey Sweets! I was literally JUST thinking about you and logged on to see if you had been around.
This past week went really fast - I've been so busy at work - so that's good. I am being a bad girl, though, and running a half marathon tomorrow I literally just signed up today. I really just don't have much hope this cycle (I keep thinking, how is this any different from the other 20 cycles?) and if I don't run the race, I think I will regret it. I promise I won't do any running in the 2ww once we do an IUI!:)
How about you? Do you have a beta scheduled or are you just gonna test?

Hello, darlin! This week was a quick one for me, too. It's always a bummer to go back after a long break, but this week wasn't too bad. Well, minus the stomach virus that DH and I had.
I understand your thinking. At this point it is so emotionally taxing to go through the 2WW. You don't want to be excited, so it is just easier to be nonchalant about the whole deal. I feel like we have so much tied to this cycle. It will be the last cycle with the IF practice at my OB office. I have made a bond with my nurse there and I felt so guilty when I told her I was moving on after this IUI. I have an appointment with an RE on Monday. I will be 9 DPIUI and I plan to test that morning. I am hoping it will be a BFP so that I can cancel that appointment. However, I'm not putting all my marbles in that jar. I never test that early.
So now, about your running. . .I think it's a great idea to do this marathon. You would totally regret it if you didn't do it. Are you still training in between events? I have been such a bum for the past two months. And, the excuse that I use is the IUI's. It is cold here and I refuse to run outside. There isn't anything except for my laziness keeping me from the treadmill though. Sigh. . .
Best of luck to you in the 1/2 marathon and in the rest of your 2WW. I am cheering for you!

Oohhh...you're testing on Monday? My RE told me to wait until the NEXT Monday. Ha! Yeah right! I was just looking up people experiences with trigger shots and how long it stays in your system. I'm not sure when I will test, or if I should just wait for AF. I have everything crossed that you will get that BFP on Monday and you can cancel your appointment. That would be so amazing!
The run went really well this morning. I thought I was taking it pretty slow, but I ended up beating my last time by 5 minutes. However, I am super tired and achy now. I guess that's what no training will do to ya So to answer your question, I'm still running a few miles here and there, but definitely not training, per se. I don't blame you for not running. I don't think I will be after I do any IUIs. I will still try to bike or do the elliptical, though. Do you belong to a gym at all?
I am going to test in a few to see if my trigger is out. The first cycle that I triggered it was out by 8 DPT. I am supposed to wait until the 14th to test and normally I would, but I really want to test before I go to the RE. I am getting worried that we won't even be able to make it to our appointment because we are forecasted to get a big snow starting on Monday. YIKES! I don't have a clue what we'll do if that happens. I guess time will tell.
Way to go on your time today!!! That is sweet! I hope your aches subside soon. How was the weather today? It's around 25 degrees here and super windy.
Right now we do not have a gym membership. In the spring and summer I prefer to run outside. However, DH and I have decided that when I get KU we will join the local gym. We just don't have the extra cash right now as we are saving and spending it all on TTC. I have a treadmill and there is a free gym near my job where I can use the elliptical. This is what I usually do through the winter. I just haven't had the motivation or the desire to get into a routine this winter.
GL with waiting that long to test. When did you O?

Let me know what the test says. I'm tempted to POAS, just to see what a + looks like:)
I heard about the forecasted snow. Crazy! I hope you are able to make it to your appointment. The weather here was decent. Upper 50s and overcast. Pretty perfect running weather, actually. I was wearing gloves (I'm a baby like that) but my hands started to sweat.
I'm pretty sure I o'd last Saturday so that would make me 7dpo. I think I will wait until 12dpo to test. My LP is usually about 12 days, but I heard clomid could make it longer.
LOL about your gloves! I wish it were 50 here! That sounds like paradise. I like winter, but at this point I am ready for some warmer weather. Our heating bill is out the roof!!!
I just POAS and my trigger is definitely out. I got a BFN.
I've got everything crossed for us!
