Parenting after a Loss

NBR random clicky poll

I'm curious how often people wash their hair.  I used to be one of those "have to wash it every day" types, but lately...not sure if it's the BFing drying me out or what...I've been able to go every other day, which I love because my hair feels healthier and doesn't get as damaged from over-styling it.  So...out of curiosity, what do the rest of you do?

ps- don't worry...I still shower every day Wink

  • My hair is so thick and difficult, I can go 2-3 days between washings and I do because once I style it I don't feel like doing it again for a few days.  I shower at night and do it at night because I would have to get up at the asscrack of dawn if I tried to do it in the morning.

Ditto, but I do every other, I shower every other day, so I wash it every time I shower.

  • I have very fine hair. Anf it's very thin now too due to PP hair loss. I can't go more than a day between washes but I wish I could. This winter my scalp is drying out. It svcks.
  • My hair is really thick, too...so this washing and styling every other day has been a huge time saver!  It used to look greasy to me if I tried to wait a day before washing again, but now it's fine...even a little on the dry side.  I have been washing it at night and then letting it air dry overnight, then I flat iron it in the morning.  Such a huge difference from blow drying AND styling every morning!

Oh, on the day I don't wash it, I use this "dry clean" spray that is supposedly a waterless shampoo.  It seems like it's just baby powder in a spray can.  I don't think I need it, but it makes me feel better just in case my hair might decide to start getting greasy on me again for some reason :)
