It's so nice to have someone here doing this whole clomid thing with me. I agree that it's worth it but still a bit scary. I hope I don't have all those bad side effects.
Do/did you have to go in for an exam prior to starting clomid? My RE is having me come in tomorrow for a quick pelvic exam to make sure I don't have any polyps or cysts on my ovaries - if so - no meds. I don't think that's a problem since I had my HSG and all was good (but that can change).
I'm kinda grossed out about a pelvic exam during AF but we do what we have to do. The nurse said that the doctor doesn't even notice it. Good for him- what a guy - it's still gross to me. I would have had it done on day 2 of AF instead of day 1 but RE is out of town after tomorrow for the rest of the week. That would suck to miss it again.
Re: *&&*
I am glad we are giving the clomid a try this cycle. We want to be pg by the end of the year also, so this seems like the right step.
Keep in touch!
(we can tell each other about all of the crazy mood swings)
I don't know how much I will be monitored (u/s) but I'll find out tomorrow. It would be nice to know but we haven't talked about that yet.
Let the craziness begin!!! Personally, I think it started the day we decided to go off the pill and ttc. Clomid will just add to the craziness.
