10oz baby born

There was a 10oz baby born at my hospital this past week. She appears to be doing well. It is amazing what they can do for a baby that is so small! It also makes me feel better because our girls will be born on Tuesday, and they are both very small for their gestational age (about 5 weeks behind).

a friend of mines cousin had an 11 oz baby...HE was a fighter and fought for 2 weeks...pure little guy..

My friend is a L&D nurse and said the baby is defying all sorts of odds and gaining weight quickly. I really hope she makes it!

There looks to be an updated article about the baby. It appears she didn't make it. I feel so sorry for the family.
