NBR re: logos and layouts, etc

So it's on my New Years resolution list to try and open an Etsy shop this year. I'd like to have a logo and personalized banner, etc. I have an idea for a shop name, and have an idea of the graphic I want. So basically I need a specific design drawn (electronically, which I have no skills in), and would like a cute logo that I can use on stuff (display cards for hair clips, etc).

Where do you go to get this? Any recs?

I go to my DH. He's a graphic designer and works for a sign shop in Raleigh.

I did ours but have worked with a local sign shop for other design stuff we've needed for the stable here. Generally if you have some idea of what type of design you're looking for a sign/print company will work with you on it.
