she wants us to name her Strawberry Shortcake.  I asked what if it's a boy and she said "orange".  Now if the 25th could hurry up and get here we will hopefully know which it is, and most importantly I just want to know baby is healthy and everything is developing/working just as it should be.

From the mouths of babes.....to cute!  Our DS is still really young (only 16 months) but when we talked to him about having a little brother and what he thought we should name him, he suggested 'ball'.  He had no clue what he was talking about!

So cute! My dd is obsessed with the strawberry short cake dolls, she even sleeps with them.

We keep telling her that the baby is coming in June, so now every baby is "baby June." If we have a girl we are considering using June for a middle name.

Strawberry shortcake is a good choice. My 3 year old  niece said if it is a girl we have to name her Coco, and if its a boy Kooky. I guess I will not consult anymore 3 year olds for name choices.

My 2 year old nephew tells me i should name my girl either Princess or sophia! which i find adorable that those are the two things he thinks of! he also tells me i am having two babies a boy and a girl and one he gets to keep at his house because he doesnt have a baby! LOVE HIM! ha

DD told us that if she has a sister, she wants to take her bowling.  No mention of any names

It's fun talking to the older sibling about the baby now, trying to get them involved and the things they have to say.  Always good for a laugh!

dd says she wants two babies, a boy and a girl.  I told her we're only having one now.  She says, okay then I want a girl this time.  I told her we don't get to pick and we'll find out soon.  She said okay.  Can't wait to find out and get her used to the idea of which it is.  She also tells everyone possible that her mommy has a baby in her tummy.  And just about every day she asks if it's going to come out now.

DS named the baby "Finner" and demands that it's a "brudder" not a sister, but he's getting a bit better about accepting the fact that it may be a girl.  Around Christmas he changed the baby's name to "Rudolph Santa Lightning" which got him into a silly tisy and he started adding names like Elmo, Dorothy, Blueberry muffin and Box.  If it's a girl he's sticking with his name choice of "MomMom"

When we told our neighbors that we were expecting, our little 4 year old neighbor boy said we should name "it" Batman.  The kid is obsessed with Batman, I saw him wearing the same Batman t-shirt all summer.  It's so funny what they come up with.

And just about every day she asks if it's going to come out now. 

Isabella has been doing the same thing! I keep saying the new baby will be here in May or June and she asked if "Cafrine" (=Catherine) doesn't want to come home NOW because it's too cold out!

I feel bad that we told her so early because 9 months must feel like forever to a 5 year old.
