There is NO SUCH THING as 'full coverage' on your automobile. NO. SUCH. THING. If you call in to your insurance company and tell them you have 'full coverage' on your car, I promise you, they are rolling their eyes on the other end of the phone.

I work in auto claims and have heard this statement like, 4 times today. It always makes me want to pull my hair out.

Yes, I know that's what YOU mean when you say it, but it isn't accurate or true. 'Full coverage' would be if you also had uninsured PD and BI coverage. And collision. And Med Pay. And PIP. And if you had the highest limits on ALL of those coverages along with your liability and PD coverage. Oh, and an umbrella policy on top of that.
There is an unfathomable amount and type of coverages you can get. So no. No you do NOT have 'full coverage'.
