I want to transition L to her crib from her cradle this weekend. I was just wondering what works for y'all as far as things in their crib to help them fall asleep.
We have the sea horse, sleep sheep and and stationary mobile. I know lots of people have the fisher price soothers. What works for your LO?

Re: What's in baby's crib?
We only have the Seahorse as a sleep aid. And it really only started working in the last couple of weeks. We feed her, burp her, hold her for a minute and then put her down drowsy but awake. Turn the Seahorse on and walk out. She talks to herself for less than 5 minutes and then we don't hear a peep until the next morning.
I have heard great things about the sleep sheep, but no experience. We had a mobile, but the music was a too high pitched to be soothing (IMO) and it was making me nervous for her to grab it.
Oh my god. Please invent this.
We have the Baby Einstein Sea Dreams Lullaby Soother, which comes with a remote, so you can turn it on from the doorway... LO never even knows you were there!
We also have a Sound Spa thing that projects an image on the ceiling and does all different lullabies and sounds and you can keep it on continuously or put it on the timer. But I can't for the life of me remember the brand name of it right now!
I also put in Fisher Price Baby's 1st Teddy Bear in the corner of the crib. At first DS would just stare and talk to it, but now that he is more mobile he crawls to it and cuddles with it. I don't think there's any harm in putting something in there that they can't suffocate on and it doesn't have any pieces that will come off in the mouth.
this. But DD also has a blankey. Its a Aden Anais blanket and we used those to swaddle her, when we stopped swaddling having that blanket to cuddle with was the only way to get her to sleep. Its really light so im not like super worried about her suffocating but once i hear that she is asleep I go in and check on her just to make sure its not covering her whole face.
