This is group designed for all the ladies in the various stages of waiting after a loss: waiting to miscarry, waiting for AF to arrive, waiting to TTC again, and waiting for BFP.   I post every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.

 

*Since this process is such a true test in patience, it is nice to have the support and friendship of other women going through similar experiences and emotions.  As people go through the heartache of losses, I have found either it strengthens their relationship with God or it makes it harder.  I would love to help you in anyway that I can to find the strength.  I found that it really helped me pull through.

 

*If you would like to be added to the list please post current TTC status. There will be a daily question, a place for prayer requests and a daily inspirational verse.  I purge this list every now and again, so if I?ve added you before but you don?t see your name now, just let me know!

DoingItRight ? how did your RE appointment go?  Cutebride73 ? so glad the ball is rolling so quickly for you on IVF!  Hope it goes smoothly!!

 

A quick welcome to vinceandang who is new to the group.  I?m so sorry for your loss but I know you will find some comfort in this group.  I hope you find our graduates list very soon!  Jolieandscott ? glad your appointment went well and I agree that all the info can be overwhelming!

QOTD: I once literally bumped into Bob Dylan, does that count?  I was working security at a concert he was performing at.  I accidentally bumped into what I thought was a scary looking roadie (scruffy, big dark glasses, hoodie pulled up).  When I commented to a coworker a few minutes later about how it would be cool if we saw someone famous that evening she followed with, "You just did" and then went on to explain.  I had no clue.  Does explain why he didn't say a word back when I apologized for the bump though.

CD2 here. Hoping AF leaves in a few days! Last Clomid cycle, then off to the OB again to discuss other options.

QOTD: Met Dolly Parton when I worked at a different nursing home. One of the residents had a daugher that was a back-up singer for her. And she had a concert in the area and stopped by!

I met Nick Lachey! What a HUNK!!!!!!!!!!!! He was here in Houston when we hosted the Super Bowl and he was walking down the street. I thought it was him so I whispered are you Nick Lachey he smiled (i melted lol) He said yes and who are you. I told him my name and he said well its nice to meet you and he walked into a building. I have been in love with him ever since lol!

Hi! I'm a newbie but I would like to be added. I'm currently TTA until we get the go ahead (which I hope is after one cycle)

We met with the RE today and talked to a genetic counselor on the phone. We are moving forward with an IVF cycle using PDG and PGS testing. It will take 2-3 months to get the "probes" for PGD created. So waiting for "probes". Hope they will be completed in time to do a March IVF cycle. My RE's office will be doing no IVF in April so if we can't get in to the March group we will have to wait until May.

QOTD: I got in a fight with Emmitt Smith at a NFL football game. He was in our Suite for a Monday Night game and was a total a$$ hole. I loved him on Dancing with the Stars and tried to say hello, he wouldn't even acknowledge my existence. He was on MY turf and treated me like Scum so I started talking $hit about the teams he played for Not one of my finest moments.

My update - 1 AF down, 1 to go. This CD 1 will hopefully be the start of TTC again (I hope!).

QOTD - I have met a lot of pro baseball players/managers and a few from hockey because my father is a sportswriter. Mostly Red Sox guys. I also knew Tucker Max in college - but please tell me none of you know who he is.

I'm a few weeks away from getting back on the TTC wagon and I'm starting to get a little excited. I'd be easier if I could hibernate for the next few weeks

QOTD: I've "met" quite a few celebrities in passing if that counts! I worked at a Bed Bath & Beyond so celebrities were constantly shopping there. Some of them were B list actors so I don't know their names I just recognized their faces. I did get to ring up the purchases for Daisy Fuentes, "Winnie" from the Wonder Years, Whoopi Goldberg, Pink, Neve Campbell, Elizabeth Berkley (she was a sweetheart) and some other ones I can't remember. No one that was uber famous...no Brad Pitt or George Clooney!

QOTD: I have met both Bob and Elizabeth Dole. I am related to Elizabeth Dole on my Dad?s side, so we see them at family reunions every now and then.

Update: I had my follie check yesterday and I had 3, but they were only 10 mm, 10 mm, and 11 mm.  The doctor was not hopeful for this cycle.

I met the band Eve 6 (back when people knew who they were) because I got free backstage passes to one of their concerts.  The lead singer was a jerk.  I can't think of anyone else that I've actually met.

QOTD: When I was in high school I was at a concert and Willie Nelson kissed me.  I have met Owen Schmitt who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles.  John Berry a country music singer.

QOTD: I have met quite a few Pittsburgh sports folks and in high school I used to babysit for one of the Steelers' kids.  I also worked for the Pittsburgh CLO in college so met a bunch of people there including Barry Manilow and Rue McClanahan
