I find this article interesting and so sad in some respects.
No longer having separation of work and home, framed pictures, handwritten notes and mail delivery? I know many of these things are possible, but are they truly better for our society?
I saw this too and it is sad in some respects. I work hard to put down the iPhone at home at night but it's hard...I need to be better so that E doesn't think I need and copy my behavior!
I still love magazines and need my watch but I'm sure by the time E is older these things won't be necessary
Interesting! I think a lot of those things are already becoming obsolete - encyclopedias, Blockbusters (ours burned down and they aren't rebuilding), dial-up (yikes), and I dont' wear a watch anymore (cell phone)!
I would really miss handwritten notes, snail mail, and I like to keep work & home mostly separate! I'd like to think I'll always have framed pictures!!!
I'm in the strange camp that actually really loves not having the separation of work/home. Obviously it's not perfect 100% of the time, but I've found that it really works so well with our family.
It makes me sad that kids now think that Wikipedia is a credible resource. I loved doing research in the library as a kid!
Re: Yahoo Article
I saw this earlier and wanted to post it as well. It is sad. I fully intend to do all of those things you mentioned.
And no watches? Lol, I feel so naked without mine, so I will not be giving mine up anytime soon. ;-)

And I'll never get rid of my watch
