"I don't want to get out of bed"

I have a feeling I'm going to have a rough time with Natalie when she's 16 and I'm trying to get her out of bed for school.  She's already telling me "I don't want to get out of bed, I'm tired", "I'm too cold to get out of bed", etc.  Getting her up in the morning takes a good 10-15 min.  She definitely gets this from her papa.  I foresee a lot of struggles with this as she gets older Stick out tongue

  • lol, same here! When Maddie wakes up, she whines until I come in the room, but then she freaks if I try to get her out of her crib. I just leave her in there until she calls for me- it can be anywhere from 2 minutes to 45 minutes, lol. And she does it every single morning and after nap. I love it unless we are trying to get somewhere!

  • I'll trade!  I'd be happy to leave Liam in bed as long as he likes, except he's always up and whining to get out of bed long before DH and I are LOL!

I wish I had this problem!!  C wakes up and instantly is a ball of energy!  He literally will yell out what he wants for breakfast as he is opening his eyes.  I would love a morning where I had 5 mins to wake up and stretch before dashing out of bed.

  • i am lucky in that Jack sleeps later then a lot of kiddos but when he wakes up he wants up at that moment and is ready to play and have breakfast!!
