How do you make a woven wrap?

I got a gift card for a fabric store for xmas and wanted to maybe make a woven and a ring sling. I know the kind of fabric that I need for a ring sling, but I have no idea what to buy for a woven. Is it a particular material you can't buy in stores or can you buy it anywhere? I forgot my woven at home in canada and I am desperate for another one, but just don't have the money right now to buy one. Thanks

Osnaburg is the best fabric to use, but you'll need to spend some serious time breaking it in.  It's not much to look at but can be dyed.
