Previous c/s ladies

If your LO is head down and dropped is your previous c/s scar just burning from the pressure?? It's like I can feel anytime she turns her head and it flippin' hurts! And a very bizarre feeling at the same time....kinda like she's just gonna bust outta there any minute. lol

Re: Previous c/s ladies

  • I didn't have a c/s to give birth, but I had the c-section cut (not through uterus) at 11 weeks this pregnancy to put in a cerclage.  If he's down there I can definitely feel it stretching and pulling my skin from the inside and it hurts like crazy!

My CS scar has been burning and hurting here lately. I guess it's the stretching. It itched like crazy for a while but now it just tingles and burns. I imagine it's only going to get worse as the baby gets bigger and my skin stretches more...

While on the subject, is anyone else's CS scar kind of like numb. It itches but I can't feel it when I scratch it directly on the scar. Kind of weird and annoying.

  • Yeah mine is numb as well, has been since it healed and I'm assuming it will forever......
  • yes with DS#2 my c/s scar was very painful but it is due to the scar tissue breaking up and the skin stretching, this time around with DD it has not bothered me. the skin seams to be completely back to normal.

I would suggest after you have the baby either another c/s or VBAC doing massage on the scar to break up the rest of the scar tissue.

    Good Luck Ladies!

  • no, my scars don't bother me.  BUT, it's been five and almost sixteen years since i had the sections plus, i have extra belly fat down there so it doesn't stretch as bad as it would if i didn't have the extra skin.  KWIM???  i will say though, that when she's head down and moving a lot, ooooh baby do i get pressure and pain.  at this point when they're getting so big, it hurts more all around when they are aggressivly moving!
