Hello!  Ugh, I am sorry we all have to be here!  I am coming over from lurking and occasionally posting on IF.

 I just got my second beta results (48 hours) in and it went from a 50 to 53 and my progesterone is at 7.  I have not had any spotting.  I have to go back in on Friday, but it is obviously not looking good at all. 

I know everyone is different, but do I just wait around for my levels to drop and then my period will start?  How long could that take?  I think I will go crazy waiting and I have read about taking a drug to assist with moving things along.  I would be 5 weeks on Friday and still have a lot of pg symptoms. 

Any experiences with early loss would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!  Good Luck!

    Welcome and I'm sorry.  I had a CP on Christmas, my hcg went from 16 to 18, a couple days later I had spotting and then at 5 weeks AF came with full force.  Again I'm sorry.

    Im sorry you're going through this. I had an early loss once we figured out my numbers weren't doubling I m/c 5 days later.If things are as you suspect, You probably are anxious to start again as most of us were but I'd say try to let it happen naturally.

    So sorry you're going through this.  I also had an early loss (5 wks) and it was a lot of waiting for things to happen naturally.  It was not easy and my heart goes out to you ((Hugs)).  May your wait be short so you can try again when you are ready.

    I would ask your doctor about what the next step should be.  But yes I would expect your levels would drop pretty quickly and that you would have a "period" within a few weeks if it is a c/p.  

    I'm so sorry you are going through this.  I believe I had a c/p this cycle as well and it is heartbreaking.  ((HUGS))  Welcome to the board.

    Welcome to the board. I'm sorry for your loss.

    I had 2 earlier miscarriages. With my first I didn't have betas done early, but when I went in at 5 weeks they were 130ish and then two days later they were 140ish. Then they started to drop and the bleeding really started (I had been spotting by then).

    I just had a CP over the holidays.  I had a + HPT and then 2 days later I tested again and  it was negative (on a digital) but with faint lines on other HPTs.  3 days after my +HPT I got my period.  I had bloodwork 6 days after my +HPT and it was negative.  Everyone is different, though.

    Each loss is different.  None of mine have been the same.  I second talking to your Dr, and discussing your next steps.  I'm sorry for your loss *hugs*
