I mistakenly sold my single bugaboo not realizing I just might have one twin alone. I got the Bumbleride Indie Twin and while I love it, it's a monster in the car on a daily basis.
Was considering the Mini vs. Select. I haven't touched either in real life. I like that the select has a single/double option, but this is pricey and at 4 mos we're probably at the tail end to use the carseat attachment options anyway.
The mini seems more compact, cheaper. But then I also will likely need to buy a single stroller. Also if you prefer mini, do you know the differences between 2010 vs. 2011?
Re: Baby Jogger: City Mini vs. City Select
I have the bumbleride - and I love it.
Like pp said, I don't feel like I need the mini (which is just a lighter version of the Bumbleride). We contemplated getting the Select, but I just didn't like how heavy it is.
We actually got a Bumbleride Flyer and use that a lot when we are out and about. Usually I'll wheel one in the flyer while dh bjornes the other baby. Added bonus? No twin comments!
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
if you have the bumbleride indie twin i see no reason to get a Mini- go with the Select for sure... aside from being able to use it as a single - the fact that it's tandem is why i would get it- since you already have a SBS.
i LOVE the select. I got it when my boys were 6mo old and use it every day.
