I wish more of their shoes had laces. Ella loves to take her velcro shoes off, so her next pair needs to be laced...but it's slim pickins for pedipeds, and I can't seem to find other brands that I like that don't have princesses all over them.
I would like to join you here! Kaylee has almost mastered laces too so we need laces long enough to double knot. And I prefer shoes that aren't sparkly/glittery/sequined.
I do not ever recall having so much trouble finding James shoes. Blah. (just had the brilliant idea to shop the boys section though...)
Paige refuses to keep her socks and shoes on. Literally, we'll have to go a mile to the store, and she'll take them off on the way... and then my_ass freezes as it's hanging out the side of car putting them back on. So frustrating.
I was going to suggest Stride Rite, they have some cute lace-up boys tennis, but the girls shoes I see are pretty fug.
Indeed they are. It's my constant peeve with SR. We have one pair that are so close to the border for me that part of me cringes every time I put them on her, mostly because the pink parts are super shiny.
In general, do you like them though? I'm trying to decide which brand I should get for A's first walking shoes. We officially having a walking child but the only shoes we have are gymbo crib shoes and pairs of adidas and nikes.
Also, where do you usually get them? Online somewhere? Does someone have good deals on them? I think they're having a sale currently. I thought about getting some today.

I think those are pretty cute (In Taupe, the other color is barf)

I LOVE them. Love love love. These are the pair she wore 90% of the time before she outgrew them.
I would never ever pay full price. You can always find semi-good deals either on their site with the annual sale, or on Zappos, 6pm, or other online sites.

No advice.
We have the same issue.
They must be a little big because sometimes he rubs his feet together and kicks them off.
Hmmm, I've never even seen Clarks kids shoes beyond the weird suede ankle boots.
Tips on where to look?

Evie does the same thing. I have had great success with the lace up converse chuck tayler tennis shoes. I got hers at nordstrom.

Clay terrace in Carmel has a few but they were more boot-ish when we last looked.
