My Best Friend Rules -Best Gift to Date

I have been best friends with Sarah for 20 years. 

She demanded that she be invited to all baby showers. Goof ball. She made quilts and burp clothes and bought me my bouncy seat. She is out of control.

However, she recently surprised me with what I consider the best gift of all. She is a lawyer - I opened a letter on company letterhead. She gave my husband and I attorney time and paper work and filings for dual wills, powers of attorneys and health care directives-  as a gift.

Anyone else gotten a really cool or interesting gift that you care to talk about? Since I'm in the third tri -this and just about everything else makes me emo.

Wow, that's awesome. She sounds amazing.

My best friend, Cara, gave us a 40 page scrapbook/baby book. Every page was different and it was already done, just needs pictures to fill it in. She covered basically every milestone possible. You can tell it took her FOREVER, and was definitely not cheap. She even sent my FI and I questions about our lives and each other and incorporated those into the book in an "About My Mommy and Daddy" page. I cried when she gave it to us. It was such an amazing gift, because I don't know that I would have had the time or patience to do something that amazing.

that is a really creative and thoughtful idea!  i am really touched that my parents and aunt/uncle are buying all of our furniture including the glider.  my dad is actually a lawyer so i kind of told him that we'll be having him write our wills in the next few weeks
