Maternity pics...vent

Blahhhh.  So I have my appt on Saturday to get my pics done but now I don't feel like having them done.  I feel gross, I have stretch marks on my hips and now they're showing up on my stomach... not to mention the weird face rash I'm getting.  I know I'll regret it if I don't and there is a thing as photoshop but the idea of trying to look nice and have them done doesn't appeal to me right now.   :(

    do it!!! even though now you feel ugly, youll want to have something to remember your pregnancy.

    I wanna be able to look back and be like OMG I can not believe how huge I was!!! And Awwwww

    and showing the baby will be fun later on when they ask about being in mommys belly

    I agree with the pp - Do it!  I didn't get maternity pictures done with DD#1 and I really wish I had.  I was just trying to save money and didn't want to pay a fancy $300 per session photographer.  Now I wish I at least had gone to JCPenney and had them taken because I have no good pictures of me when I was pg.  I will definitely be doing maternity pictures this time - I'll probably take DD for some pictures and get in a few of the shots with her.

    Yes, do it! I know the feeling - we had ours taken Sunday and I like so few of them.  I'm in a really awkward spot where I'm showing just enough to show I'm pregnant (still??), but in some shots, I just looked fat.  So I either look not very pregnant or huge as a house.  But there were some really cute ones with DH kissing my belly and my 4-year-old SD talking to the baby.  Bring props - like we had these letters that are the baby's initials my friend painted for me and those pics turned out super cute.  And we had a onesie and some shoes, too.  Just get creative and remember you can totally take a nap when you're done!  :)  That's what got me through it.  I know I would have regretted not doing them if I had succumbed to my exhaustion that day.  Good luck!

    DO IT!!! You don't want to regret not having any photos. Even if you are not feeling beautiful now, you will want to remember this time in your life.

    Go for the pictures - editing is wonderful as you said already. 

    Just make sure you dress appropriately (i.e. wear pants) - mentioned for my BGP ladies...  Wink
