Is it lame...

To make your own baby shower invitations? I love to scrapbook and make cards, and my sister is the farthest thing from being crafty. I have offered to make the invites for her... is that really lame?

    I think it depends on who you ask. My mom and sisters are throwing my shower, but I made the invites and they have done everything else. I just wanted to help in some way and was worried my mom was going to buy some cheap handwritten ones.

    I don't think that it's lame at all!  I am picking out my own invites because I have different taste than my sis.  If I was crafty I would make my own.

    If your sister is all for it, then what the heck!  No need for you guys need to announce it either...if no one knows, then it's not a big deal (I'm sure they wouldn't care either if they did know).  Want to make some for me?  Haha, jk!  Good luck!

    No, I don't think it's a big deal for you to do this.  As long as your hostess is okay with it I wouldn't worry about it.
