We're losing our first baby, went to the hospital on the 31st for spotting and should have seen an 8 1/2 week old instead of an empty gestational sac.  I have to go back on Friday for a second ultrasound, but the doctor is just going to talk to me about my "options" for miscarriage.  I don't know how introductions work here, but here I am and I have questions.  I'll put them in another post.  My husband and I have been married for 6 1/2 years and this was finally the time to start trying.  We just "untold" MIL and FIL last night.  They were sweet, they offered to hop on a plane and be here "before the sun comes up."  They even offered to fly my mom up (who wouldn't have been able to afford a plane ticket anyway).  I declined of course, but right now I could use some friends who know what I am going through right now.  That being said, hello ladies and I am deeply sorry for each and every loss here.

Oh honey I am so sorry for your lost.  This is a great place to find help and support.  There are so few answers to why this happens and most of them don't give much comfort.  We just lost our first as well and its been the worst week of our lives.  Its so hard to understand.  We are all here for you though and have some idea of what you're going through and how you're feeling.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I've found this to be a great place for support and it's helped me feel like I'm not isolated.  The week we lost our LO was by far the worst week I've had.  If you can take a few days off work.  Ask any questions you need to.  ((hugs))

I am so sorry for your loss and so sorry that you have found your self on this board.  But welcome!  We are all here for eachother to offer advice and answer questions the best we can.  And of course if you just need to vent.  I hope we can all help you heal the emotional part of this horrible thing and that you go through this phisicaly as painlessly as possible!

I am so sorry you are going through this loss. It has been over a week since we lost our angel. I can only give you the hope each day will get a little bit easier. After one successful, uneventful pregnancy, I also had an empty sac.  I don't understand how or why, but I do understand what you are feeling right now.  Big hugs, I hope you find some comfort here!

I'm so sorry for your loss. Even though it's horrible to have to be here, this is a great support group. The best advice I can give you is to just take it day by day and give yourself time to grieve. It's normal to feel a million different emotions and for me, I found it's easier to process them through a blog. ((hugs))

So sorry for your loss.  You are in the right place though.  I just experienced my first loss (am still going through it actually) and it has been an incredibly emotional adventure that I wouldn't wish on anyone.  Being on this board has helped me.  Reading about other people's stories just makes me feel less alone.
