I'm 33 weeks and soooo ready to have this baby. I have been getting little contractions here and there. Nothing major. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have this baby around 37 weeks. When did your first one get delivered?
I don't think I'd get too excited yet about delivering early. My little sister was 4 cm dilated with her little girl for the last two weeks and had contractions for the last three weeks. We were certain that she'd deliver at 37 weeks.
She didn't though...my little niece didn't make her appearance until 40 weeks and 3 days.
(My sister and I are having little ones about four months apart so we tend to think of it as one long, shared pregnancy. LOL! )

I went into preterm at 35 weeks. They stopped labor, kept me over night, then sent me home. 4 days later I came back for an NST that showed decells and they induced me that day.

41 weeks 3 days. I knew exactly when I got pregnant also, because I had trouble getting there. I know you feel that way but sorry to tell you that you may not go sooner just because you feel that way. I feel that way too...but I know that most likely im going right to my csection date
I was 37w3d. I was induced due to pre-eclampsia and uncontrollable gestational diabetes. I agree with the pp. Dont rush wanting your baby to come out. My daughter had to spend 5 days in the NICU because her lungs weren't quite developed enough.
I was induced at 42 weeks with my first; my second decided that 40 weeks, 6 days was going to be her birthday, and with my third, I am currently 40 weeks, 2 days. I've been contracting pretty regularly since 35 weeks with this baby.
Be patient; your child's long term health depends on cooking for as long as possible right now. Anything before 38 weeks is less than desirable.
Try to relax and not think so much about wanting it to be over - the last few weeks will be much longer if you spend them thinking about being miserable!
My m/w's and OB kept telling me I'd go "anytime" after 36 weeks w/ my son. I was 1 cm dilated and 80% effaced at 36 weeks, with timeable false labor contrax on & off for weeks. The result = me being induced at 41 weeks. The good part was that due to the false labor, my pain tolerance was really high and I handled labor very well (didn't get an epi until I was maybe 7 cm?), and I also started an induction 3 cm dilated so it was quick.
Just don't do what I did and get your hopes up - I don't want to be a downer, but you could still go overdue. Just enjoy your last few weeks child-free, and go out to dinner and the movies and enjoy sleeping and napping!!

I had a totally uneventful pregnancy, no issues. Water broke spontaneously while we were out to dinner. DD was 7 lbs 9 oz and perfectly healthy - only issue was that she was very sleepy and it took 3 weeks for her to learn to nurse.
