Visiting - rain cover for Portland?

Hi everyone,

We are going to Portland this coming week and need to know if it's necessary for us to have a rain cover for the stroller.  Will we be okay with just a big umbrella?

I would definetly buy one just in case, maybe leave the tag on until you actually use it?  Yestertday the sky was nice and clear and then it poured rain for about an hour, then went back to normal again.  Sept/Oct is really up in the air here, better safe than sorry.  We get a LOT of rain!
