I think this one does it all.  Price $800  Dresser on one side and Desk on the other.  Plus this one has the most dresser space which is what is mostly needed.  Im ok with losing the stairs if I can gain that much dresser space.  L really wants a second bed and since this one offers that as well I think Im set on this bed.

Sorry for all the bed posts.  I become obsessed with something and hate to settle.  I will search and search until I find what I want in my price.  So here it is.  

 

I showed it to L and he gave me his approval as well.  Of course I think he would be happy with anything but the Castle bunk bed that I keep showing him.

BTW this is what the dresser looks like.  In this model there is a dresser on both sides.   

 

I actually like the look of this bed better than the 1st berg one with steps.  Oh I cant wait to get out tax money and order it!

Im more excited about finding this bed than a kid on Christmas.  My heart is seriously pounding Im so excited.  Sad I know but I have seriously looked ALLLLLLL day today, several hours last night and some the night before.  My eyes are about to pop out of my head from looking so much.  

Im just glad I dont have to search any more.  YAY!  And Im sure you ladies are glad I wont be posting anymore.

Thanks for sticking around for all my posts.  I really super excited about this one.  The price is totally AWESOME!  

Now..to find great boy bedding that will last at least 3-4yrs.  That will have to wait another day.  No more google for me for a long while.  We arent buying that until May anyways.  I will buy cheap sheets from Walmart until then.  We wont have the bed long before then anyways.  We will do our taxes as soon as I get my W2s and get our return asap.  (usually 2-3day)  I will order it as soon as the money is in the bank.  

Anyone know where to get decent mattresses and not pay an arm and leg for them?

I just started lurking a little here, but I have to tell you that we have beds from that same line (dresser, staircase, and full bed on the bottom) and love them!  I was so excited when they were delivered last year.  The dresser is huge, which I love, and DS likes hiding toys in the drawers in the stairs.  On the top bunk the mattress is only held up by a few boards across the frame, so we just cut a piece of plywood the same size as the mattress, laid that on the boards, then the mattress on top.  (I hope that makes sense.)  It's much more solid now, and my DH lays up there with the kids sometimes.  Enjoy!

Try Sam's Club or Costco for mattresses. We bought ds a new one at Sam's a couple months ago and thought it was reasonably priced. Not an absolute top-of-the-line mattress but still absolutely fine for a 6 y/o.

As for bedding, ds just got the PBK Star Wars sheets. Pricy, I know, but my mom bought them as ds's Christmas gift. I figure that most 30-something men I know still haven't outgrown their Star Wars obsession so I don't have to worry about ds outgrowing it anytime soon, LOL.

We bought him an inexpensive ($50ish) navy blue down comforter at Kohl's instead of the PBK coordinating quilt. I think their quilts are overpriced, the quality isn't all that great and ds prefers the coziness of a down comforter anyhow.

I like that bed a lot! I have found some really nice and also reasonable bedding at JC Penney in the past.  The have a lot of selection.

They different ones similar to this one.  Check out the links I posted.  You can get it with the dresser on both sides as well as the desk/dress option and you can get a full bed on the bottom in case you need/want it.  

I cant get over the price!
