OBGYN Reccomendations, Northern NJ

So I have been goiong to see a NP (nurse practitioner) for my annuals
since I was 18. She belongs to a OBGYN practice but obviously is not an
OBGYN herself which means I have to find a new doctor (which I hate the
thought of). DH and I started TTC this past cycle and I have my annual
next week. I know I can probably just see someone else in the practice
but how do I know if I will like them. My MIL wants me to go to the
woman she sees but part of me thinks that is just wierd (I'm not sure
why).
Anyway.....would any of you reccomend your OBGYN?
I live in Pompton Lakes (next to wayne), so somewhere close to me would be preferable.
