Finally learned what DS was saying

after a week of him saying it. Ew mee, or something close to that means 'you're mean.' He had to have learned it from the sitters daughter who is 7.

It's cute and all but he's starting to make me and DH feel bad. If he's not ready to go to sleep he'll sit in his crib and say your mean, or give him water instead of milk, the certain snack he wants, or a toy, or whatever he wants at the moment. It's all.the.time. Guess we'll just be mean parents from here on out.

  • That sucks. Maybe ask the sitter to talk to her daughter about using that phrase less?

Luckily, maybe, this is his last week then he'll be off to a school. I'm hoping he doesn't pick up worse from there.

  • My LO points at us and says, "Baaaaaa" as in bad when he gets mad at us. I think it's funny. My DH eggs him on and they will say it back and forth to each other.
  • When DS doesn't like something I do he shakes his head no at me. haha
